A mix of all conditions at Blyton although most definately cold! Saturday was the Eastern Layout. In SB our top two went head to head with Neal coming out on top by just two tenths from Will. In 1A Dominic took 2nd and set a new record. In 1B we had the whole class out! Ian took the win with Martin 2nd, Geoff 3rd, Richard 4th and Marie 5th. In 1C2WD Terry pipped Drew to the win by 3 tenths with both scoring bonus points. Mike was 3rd. In 1D David finished 3rd. In 1E2WD I took the class win. In 1E4WD Roger took 2nd but set the record. In 1F David finished 3rd but took bonus points. In 2A David set a blistering time, lowering the record and taking the class win. Graham took 2nd. In 2B Thomas took 3rd with Simon scoring good points. In 3A Julian took 2nd but broke the record. In 3B Stephen took the class win. In 3C Anthony took the class win. In 4E Steve took the class win and bonus points. In 5D Steve took 2nd but set the record.
On Sunday it was the turn of the Outer layout. In SB Will reversed the result, taking the class win by 4 tenths from Neal. In 1B honours stayed the same but Ian took bonus points and Marie took 4th over Richard now 5th. In 1C2WD Drew also reversed the result pipping Terry and breaking the record, with Terry taking bonus points and Mike 3rd. In 1E2WD I took 3rd. In 1F David took 3rd but got bonus points. In 2A David again broke the record with Graham 2nd. In 2B Simon pipped Thomas with both scoring good points. In 3A Julian took 2nd and bonus points. In 3B Stephen took the class win. In 3C Anthony broke the record and won the class. In 4E Steve set the record with a class win.
With just the two Curborough’s left, our top three remain the same but David Cleaver has leapt into contention with a very strong weekend to move 4th and Julian moving into 5th.
