I am a Chartered Surveyor, working in East Birmingham, living in Solhull and Chairman of the Midland Speed Club.
Driver Biography
Carole and I started in motorsport marshalling for Hagley and District LCC ay Loton Park and my first event was at Loton in our office Peugeot 205GTi in 1988.
I was MSC Champion in 1994 in a Mk 1 Toyota MR2 (Standard Class).
Following 10 years of competing, I mistakenly put the car in the hands of an engine builder, resulting in not competing for many years.
Following the sale of the MR2, the Mazda was purchased and a new set of overalls and helmet were purchased with the proceeds.
I started competing again in 2015 in both hill climbs and sprints.
Despite having grandchildren older than some competitors, I enjoy competing once again in an attempt to match my earlier times.
