Llandow and Curborough Results (Amended)

On Saturday at Llandow, it was dry for practise and wet for the event, Pete took the class win in 1D and set the new target time. In 1F David took the win and again set the new target. In 3A Julian did the same! In 3C Alison came 3rd but again set the new target. It does mean next year those targets are ripe to go with the wet weather!

Meanwhile at a busy Curborough, Davie took 2nd place in SB and bonus points with Alex scoring good points in a competitive class. In 1B Martin took the win and bonus points with Marie 3rd. In 1C2WD Mike took 2nd. In a very packed and competitive 1D, Duncan took 2nd but missed the bonus by 0.02! Matthew came 3rd with Hugh 4th, Mary 5th and Alasdair picking up good points. In 2A Graham pipped John in a tight battle. In 2B Keith took 2nd. Darren took 2nd in 3B. In 3F Graham pipped Craig to the class win. In 4A David took a narrow win and the bonus points over Stephen. In 5A Stuart took the win, FTD and the bonus points as well to continue what has been a dominant season so far for the Bickleys. In 5D Steve took the class win and the bonus points.

On Sunday Davie took the class win and beat the record to take max points. In 1B Martin won with Marie 2nd.  In 1C2WD Mike took 2nd. In 1D a returning Pete took 2nd place and set the new record from Duncan in 3rd with Matthew 4th (who both also broke the record), Hugh took 5th and bonus points, Mary 6th and Alasdair picking up good points. In 1E2WD John took the win. In 1F Andrew took the win and set a new record. In 2A Graham took first from John. In 2B Keith took the class win. In 3B Darren came 3rd. In 3F Graham took the class win. In 4A Dave pipped Stephen to take the win. In 5A Stuart took the win, the record and FTD with Martin scoring good points. In 5D Steve took the class win.

This also means we have two drivers who have hit the magic 8 and 2+2. Peter Taylor is the man to catch in 1st with Julian in 2nd.
