Gurston and Prescott Results are up!

The scores are up for Gurston (R7 and R8) and Prescott (R9). The 1B class finally swung into action! This always well populated class has been quiet so far but this weekend most of the contenders were out. In Gurston, Class 1B, Martin got a 2nd on the Saturday with Marie scoring good points. On Sunday in the wet as accurately predicted by son Frank 🙂, Martin went one better and won the MSC class and also the class on the day with a cracking drive in the wet. Marie had another good points haul. On Saturday Pete won 1D and set a new target despite the Mazda giving him trouble. In 1E2WD some bloke in a Vantage took a MSC class win both days, again setting a new target on the Saturday. In 4A Stephen King had a tough sport libre class to contend with but scored well both days. Stephen Mason also had a tough 5A class to contend with but scored good points in the Jedi. Sarah Bosworth continued her points hauls this season with a class win both days and setting the new target in 5B.
On the Sunday at Prescott Nick West took the 1B honours from Dave, showing his father how to do it on fathers day no less! Geoff Hedges came 3rd with Richard Jenkinson 4th. In 2A Ben Woodcock took 1st with Graham 2nd and John Sharples 3rd. In 2B Martin Harvey won a really close battle with Keith Adams 2nd and David Birch 3rd. Julian Harber took the honours in 3A. In 3F Craig Spooner won the class with Graham Frankland 2nd. David Bickley won 4A and Stuart took the win in 5A in another Bickley double!
All of this means Pete Taylor in the Mazda goes back to the top of the pile despite missing Prescott with car issues, Sarah Bosworth goes back 2nd, demoting Dan Hollis down to 3rd.
