I took early retirement from the NHS Ambulance Service, and work part time at a well known race circuit in the Medical Services Team.
Weekends are taken up Competing, Marshalling or Rescue Crew on a hill or sprint in the Midland Region.
The rest of my spare time is taken up as National Membership Secretary for the British Motorsports Marshals' Club.
I started competing in the Curborough Sprint Championship in my Westfield in 2012. In 2015 l entered both the Service Hydraulics Championship and Curborough championship again in the Westfield.
In 2016 following the purchase of my Lotus 61 FF I competed in the Curborough Championship and the Westfield in the Service Hydraulics Championship.
This year I am concentrating on competing in the Midland Speed Championship in the Lotus 61, the Westfield has been returned to its road going condition and now my wife will get in it again for days out in the sun!!!!
