I am a semi retired (shortly to be completely retired) Chartered Civil Engineer having spent most of my life working with contractors ending up as a Divisional Director of a big construction company and being involved in some amazing big building projects.
Driver Biography
I am 68 years old and I started competing when I was 60. I have always been interested in cars and as a student, many years ago I did a small number of University Motor Club rallies in a 970cc Mini Cooper S that I owned. When I got to 60 I thought that now the kids are grown up and settled, the mortgage is paid off etc etc it is time for me. So I took up sprinting and hill climbing and I love it.
I bought the Radical in 2014 and this year (2017) will be my 4th season in it and we do ok. I am concentrating on the Midlands Speed Championship this year, I really like some of the venues we can compete at.
